A .in is free only for the first year, with a yearly hosting plan from MilesWeb or Hostinger. On its own, the cheapest is ₹744 ($7.83) a year at Porkbun. The ₹1 offers need a 3-year purchase.
A free .in domain comes with yearly hosting plans at MilesWeb and Hostinger, for the first year. On its own, a .in is not free: the cheapest I found for one year is ₹744 ($7.83) at Porkbun, and it renews at the same price.
.in is India’s own ending. It tells Google and your customers that you serve India. I checked these offers on 2 Nov 2026.
Way 1: a free .in with hosting
MilesWeb is the cheapest host I found that includes a free .in. Its Starter plan is ₹69 a month for 36 months (₹2,931 with GST), and you can pick .com, .in or .co.in free for the first year.
Hostinger also lists .in among its free domain endings on Premium and bigger plans. Hostinger’s help page says country endings like .in depend on the Hostinger brand, so you see the final list when you claim the domain. Read the details in free domain with Hostinger.
Way 2: buy the .in alone (from ₹744)

The ₹1 deal is good value if you are sure you will keep the name. At Hostinger, 3 years of .in cost ₹2,123 with GST, which is about ₹708 a year. If you only want one year, Porkbun is cheaper. See every registrar on cheapest domain in India.
What about .co.in?
.co.in is for Indian companies and is even cheaper. Porkbun sells it for ₹551 ($5.80) a year. Hostinger India sells it for ₹499 for the first year (₹589 with GST) and ₹799 after that (₹943). MilesWeb gives it free with hosting for year 1.
Is a ₹99 .in offer live right now?
Not at the registrars I checked on 2 Nov 2026. The lowest first-year .in was the ₹1 deal that needs 3 years. Short ₹99 offers appear in sales like Diwali and Black Friday. We will email you when one goes live.
